Remote mount range fans are a quieter alternative to the roar of a hood mounted fan. They are mounted in the attic, and connect to the range hood via duct work. Duct work then connects the other side of the fan to a roof vent. These well made range exhaust fans are built for long lasting and efficient ventilation. Each package includes the fan and mounting bracket. The fan can be mounted in any orientation. Just add your own duct and hood for complete installation. Size fans by using the code requirement of 100 CFMs (cubic feet per minute air moved) per square foot of hood area.
