Insulate Against Heat LossPolyurethane expanding foams are used in new construction and remodeling situations to insulate against heat loss. They are the best products to use around skylights, inside and outside of electrical outlets, between door or window and house frame, around pipe penetrations and around base plates. As you use this product, you will discover more and more applications. One-part foams put out a bead of foam while two-part foams put out a spray. Handi-Foam comes as a kit complete with 8′ of hose, one plastic nozzle and one brass nozzle. The foam is turned off at the box and the hose cleaned out with our Handi-clean for re-use up to several months later. The I-160 yields 9,300 ‘ of a 3/8″ bead, or 1.2 cubic feet The I-260 yields 14,800 feet of a 3/8″ bead, or 11.4 cubic feet Technical Specs Handi-Foam® Quick Cure and E84 Class 1 Spray Foams are chemically cured systems and the cure process occurs very quickly – generally within minutes. Due to their excellent adhesion properties they provide excellent insulation by creating a continuous air barrier that completes the building envelope. This helps to improve indoor air quality, lowering heating and cooling costs and drastically reduce energy consumption. Handi-Foam Quick Cure and E84 Class 1 assist in attaining ENERGY STAR® rating and/or LEED credits.
